Canoe Kentucky has special offers and requirements when it comes to groups of ten paddlers or more. Whether you are organizing a group from work, a church group, a group of scouts, or simply bringing family and friends to enjoy this beautiful place; there are certain steps to follow. They will make your task as the group leader easier, much more fun, and a lot less stressful. Remember we are always here to help you set up a great trip for your group.

1.  A group discount of 10% is only available for groups with 10 paddlers or more.

2.  Pre-paid reservations, made in one form of payment, are required to receive our group discount and to ensure the availability of equipment and staff to support your group. Please make the estimate of the number in your group as accurate as possible. We can help you with this. Any boats added the day of your trip will not be at the discounted rate. Any reserved boats not used the day of your trip will be credited to the group leader in the form of a rain check. You can make a reservation request here: Reservation Request

3. Before making your reservation please review our Cancellation Policy here: Cancellation Policy

4.  A Canoe Kentucky waiver must be printed and filled out for every person in your group before you arrive. This saves everyone a bunch of time the day of your trip. Any group member under the age of 18 must have their waiver filled out by their parent or legal guardian only. Scout leaders and church group leaders do not qualify. The Canoe Kentucky waiver can be printed here: Waiver Download

5.  As the group leader, collect deposits and completed waivers from everyone who says they wish to come. This commitment to you will help you manage the size of your group more accurately and make your planning easier.

6.  Advise the members of your group on the things they should wear and bring on your trip. This helps everyone have a safer and more enjoyable day. A list of items we recomended and use can be found here: What to Bring

7. Having as many of your group members car pool as is practical helps reduce overloading our parking areas and is a great way to be sure "straglers" arrive on time. It also saves gas and helps our enviroment.

8.  Be sure each of your drivers has directions and, if possible, a cell phone and our number (1-888-226-6359). There are alot of different ways to get to Canoe Kentucky and people sometimes do get lost. The best driving directions can be found here: Map and Directions

9. When all of your group has arrived at Canoe Kentucky, only you, the group leader, needs to check in at the desk with the completed waivers for your entire group. We'll take it from there. For more on "How It Works" from this point look here: How it Works

10. Please let us know as soon as possible about any changes to your reservation.

We understand that your groups numbers, trip choice, date, put in time, etc. may change. We are here to work with you to make your job as organizer easier and to help your group have a memorable day on the Elkhorn Creek.
